The Parents & Family Association has four working committees that support
the activity of the Association and the University and regional Parents &
Family Clubs to maintain connection with parents and families in your hometowns.
To join any committee of regional Parent & Family Club, please

Budget Committee
- Works with university staff to prepare annual budget
- Monitors expenses and adjusts budgets as necessary
- Sets fundraising and membership projections
- Develops fundraising plans for the Parents & Family
Association
- Actively raises funds on behalf of the Association
- Recommends campus programs and services as recipients
of Parents & Family Association funds
- Advocates to and lobbies state and federal legislators
on behalf of The University of Arizona
- Hosts events for university faculty, staff, and parents
to meet legislators
- Supports the University’s effort to recruit and
retain undergraduate students
- Participates in off-campus recruitment events
- Participates in Summer Send-Off events for incoming
freshmen
- Represents The University of Arizona at college fairs
and other admission events at request of the Admission Office.
Regional Parents & Family Clubs are under development and will launch in the
Fall of 2007 in the following areas:
- Phoenix, AZ
- Los Angeles, CA
- Orange County, CA
- San Diego, CA
- San Francisco, CA
- Chicago, IL
- Metro New York City, NY
- Las Vegas, NV
- Seattle, WA
