Parents & Family Association Committees
The Parents & Family Association has four working committees that support the activity of the Association and the University and regional Parents & Family Clubs to maintain connection with parents and families in your hometowns. To join any committee of regional Parent & Family Club, please email

Budget Committee

• Works with university staff to prepare annual budget
• Monitors expenses and adjusts budgets as necessary
• Sets fundraising and membership projections

Campaign Committee

• Develops fundraising plans for the Parents & Family Association
• Actively raises funds on behalf of the Association
• Recommends campus programs and services as recipients of Parents & Family Association funds

Public Affairs Committee

• Advocates to and lobbies state and federal legislators on behalf of The University of Arizona
• Hosts events for university faculty, staff, and parents to meet legislators

Student Recruitment & Retention Committee

• Supports the University’s effort to recruit and retain undergraduate students
• Participates in off-campus recruitment events
• Participates in Summer Send-Off events for incoming freshmen
• Represents The University of Arizona at college fairs and other admission events at request of the Admission Office.

Regional Parents & Family Clubs are under development and will launch in the Fall of 2007 in the following areas:

• San Diego, CA
• San Francisco, CA
• Chicago, IL
• Metro New York City, NY
• Las Vegas, NV
